The journal “Engineering Systems and Structures” is a peer–reviewed scientific journal published since 2009. Founder and publisher: Voronezh State Technical University, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education (from 2009 to 2016, Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was the founder and publisher of the journal). The journal was registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications PI No. FS 77 – 72112 dated December 29, 2017. The territory of distribution of the magazine is the Russian Federation. The journal “Engineering Systems and Structures” is included by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences. The journal “Engineering Systems and Structures” is included in the Russian Citation Index in accordance with the license agreement with the Scientific Electronic Library No. 216-05/2019 dated 06.03.2019. In accordance with this license agreement, the journal’s website for the last two calendar years provides only metadata of all published articles in Russian and English. Publication schedule: The magazine is published four times a year: March, June, October, December. The deadline for submitting articles is no later than two months before the publication (estimated release date 28.03; 28.06; 28.10; 28.12). The journal does not charge a fee for reviewing and publishing articles, the decision on publication is made by the editorial board based on the results of an independent review. Scientific developments of VSTU are being actively implemented at the enterprises of the region, making it possible to increase production efficiency. The total number of students studying at the university exceeds 20,000 people from more than 50 countries around the world. Voronezh State Technical University has 10 dissertation councils for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences and the degree of Doctor of Sciences. In order to develop innovative activities and commercialize scientific developments, 21 small innovative enterprises have been established and operate with the participation of VSTU: DM Solution LLC (software development and consulting in this field, scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences, consulting on computer hardware, other activities related to the use of computer technology and information technology, activities related to the creation and use of databases and information resources); VGASU Stroyengineering LLC (study and adaptation of the best practices of construction from soil to Russian conditions; production of concrete products for use in construction); VGASU-NPC GKEON LLC (carrying out research and development work on geodetic, cadastral, monitoring, evaluation and other activities in the field of the company’s focus); Scientific and Technological Center of Micro- and Nanotechnology LLC (scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences, production of semiconductor elements, devices, including photosensitive and optoelectronic); Scientific and Production Enterprise Aviaproekt LLC (development, creation and testing of aircraft systems and structures, development of technologies for creating components and assemblies for the needs of the aviation industry), etc. Students and young scientists participate in various innovation competitions on an ongoing basis.
